DD's first year of travel ball and 1st year at 12u. Going to be a big adjustment for her and us, from 14 ogso games to spring spano league,9 tournaments, and racers league.
I'm looking forward to being back at 10u spent last few years workin way up to 14u now starting over young girls are a lot of fun to coach but definitely is exciting
Love the fact that my kid gets as much a kick out of her teammates successes as her own and talks more about them than herself. Especially when we get a new pitcher and she is excited when she realizes that her new teammate is faster than her by atleast 5mph, even though it means less mound time for her.....she could care less.

My sons said to me last week they can't wait for softball season to start so they can eat walking tacos again. The life of a younger brother.... And then they asked why don't we make them at home! LOL!!!!
I'm already enjoying listening to my oldest as she is thoroughly enjoying her junior year. She has a lot more confidence then I had ever seen from her and looking forward to her transition at 3rd from center field. Knowing she only has this year and next year, I'm soaking it all up. If she played travel, that would be different, but she chooses not too and I'm fine with that. Watching her grow up into a fine young lady has been a blessing and an honor.
I look forward to drinking out of a red solo cup and yelling at Hitter23 while he's coaching......
Seriously, I'm looking forward to my dd's sophomore year of HS ball with a quest to win their 5th straight conference championship, the heat, the long drives, the overnight stays, the sunscreen, taking video, walking tacos, and hot dogs. Oh.....and beer.
Seeing my dd in the circle for her college team. Knowing she got there because she wanted it. Remembering her throwing it over the backstop as a ten year old.

It actually seems like something I read about, a myth perhaps.
When her older sister went through college it seemed like we dropped her off and the next week, we were at her graduation.
Treasure the time you are able to spend with your daughters.
