Question about Travel vs. DII Schools?

I thought I heard of teams from Ohio for travel playing college teams.

I know DII schools are allowed to work out recruits and they are allowed to work out with and compete against players on the team already. I heard schools can actually bring in DII recruits and work them out as a group and they play a scrimmage to help the coach evaluate the players.

Anyone know any more information on this topic it would be appreciated.

Basically what I am asking is could a travel team of recruits go to a DII school and scrimmage them?

I know for DI and DIII they are not allowed to work out players on visits for the NCAA but how does it work for DII?

Most college teams had there first scrimmages this weekend. We played three games this weekend. We played at urbanna university a D2 college in ohio. Wilmington college which is a D3 college played Marian diamonds, miami valley express Gold, and Urbanna university. WE can only have a curtain amount of games in a given designated period by the ncaa. Urbanna also played MVexpress gold. So yes you could bring a bunch of recruites and scrimmage a college. All these games were compititive and low scoring as most teams looked a little rusty. A great experience for are college teams. Im sure it would help the recruites to be seen in game action against college compitition.
