Saw on JJ Huddle that Tallmadge moved on to Final Four, believe it was 1-0 over Poland, but not sure. Think the poster said the winning run was forced in on a bases loaded walk.

Ha! LOL, Mike lives just a few houses down from me, and his dd gives mine a ride frequesntly. I was sitting in the cheap seats in left field next to Durak & Gough (if that helps??) .....

I plan on bringing the whole family out on Thursday, barring any significant emergency.

Probably going to miss Saturday though (if necessary), which I'm NOT happy about. (Still plotting an escape plan to get there somehow. )

Forgot to add.... Hats off to the Boardman HS team for their fantastic effort. Stud pitching, timely hitting, and gritty play by the defense made them a great team to watch.

Player #21 was taking it pretty hard after hitting one out to the warning track for the final out. If she happens to be reading this, she has every reason to be upset, but no reason at all to hang her head. That was a clutch hit by a quality player. Best of luck to that team in the future.
