My comment the first time I saw Laser Orange last year was how sharp and classie they looked.
I always prefer the pants, especially the pin striped and the sleeveless button down jerseys. The nice zipper ball shorts are also another classie touch for the hotter days.
Teams look and also carry themselves differently when sporting in a classic style, from my experience. Not to mention they are more durable and a better product for the cost. Yes they can be warmer, but the players adjust.
Don't know who's idea it was for girls to wear shorts, probably the same person that made womens high heel shoes over 4" and came to a point. Don't know anyone that has toes shaped like that.
As far as the scars, my dd's have never complained or been embarrassed. It's part of them and their pride of what they do. My 13 yr old legs and arms are a mess year round, don't think she even notices anymore or cares. Although when she first started playing competitive sports at the age of 6, I was questioned by the doctor at a yearly physical. Now he knows, and ask which sport. She loves showing off the really good ones.
The older two learned how to cover them with tanning products when needed for special occasions.
