Should parents let there kids on this site.. and why ??

I wouldn't mind my daughter being on this site if she was communicating with other players--just don't want her exposed to some of the stuff that is posted on this site. She isn't interested in this site though as she has other places she posts with her softball friends. That is also why we have unlimited texting.

Trust me, the stuff that they can see on myspace and other sites is way worse than what a few members and former members have put on this board. What these kids are doing on the internet these days is down right disturbing , and that's saying something, considering who my friends are. lol

From my experience online, few players really spent time on these sites. Their interest is in chatting with their friends and teammates, looking for music, networking on myspace or facebook, or using emails to name a few of their favorites things to do online.

You always have the exceptions to the rules that will want to read about the gossips going on or the super keener who wants to learn. This is more the exception than the rule.

I think if a kid wants to come on a forum to learn and read about softball, they sure should.

If the content of a ''softball'' forum is not appropriate for young softball players, something is wrong about that forum.

Yes, because theyre the ones PLAYING the game, and its a YOUTH sport.

Also, not every parent makes the same effort in regard to their DD's softball, so im sure theres some on here looking for info they need whether its looking for a team, scores, clinics they would like to go to, college info, etc..
