This tournament was fantastic. The competition in 14s was unbelievable as I'm sure it was in all ages. We were a late add, not sure why a team would drop yet might of been good for their self esteemn. Our 4 pool games were Stingrays Leedy, Doom 96, All American Roadrunners and VE blue. First 3 just kicked us in the teeth period!

Girls showed up to tie VE blue and in elimination gave a very good effort against Indy Dreams losing 1-2. In that one our Girls instinctively pulled off a legitimate bang bang bang triple play, highlight of our efforts.

Wonderful event all in.My first time there since my daughter played for 10_u Stingrays in 2007 and the quality of the every thing, parent volunteers efforts on fields, communication, College draw and competition was top notch. Only regret is we did not show all to well yet our girls enjoyed playing some the best around.

Thank You to for the opportunity Rudy, great job, hats off to you and Stingrays organization.

The triple play was fantastic!! F8, 8-2, 2-5, I think. I happened to be walking by just as it transpired...This was our family's first time at Stingray's, and I was thoroughly pleased all the way around...Great Job Stingrays!!!

Thank you all for your attendance as well as suggestions.
We will continue to strive for perfection and all your input is appreciated.

So Coop, Leedy was the weak link this weekend....
I will need to speak with her about that. LOL.

Coop, I have to disagree as I witnessed Coach Leedy working very hard around 12:30 Friday night near field #5 at Beakman :)

Of course anything after midnight may have been an optical illusion, as I was accussed of cat napping in between innings by J. Miller...lol

Stingrays,

It was once again an incredible experience. The 14U portion of the tournament was ran extremely well, and the talent present was impressive. I would have liked to attend the recruiting seminar, but was unable to due to our game times.

Thank you for making it as great as you do.

My dd played in the 16U division and has been playing Stingray's Showcase since 12U. It is always a top notch tournament with a great college coach turnout, and it seems that the rain always plays havoc on it. With that being said, I still don't understand why no bracket play...realistically, we didn't see ANY college coaches on Sunday and our team is one that always had at least 8 coaches watching their pool games on Friday and Saturday...bracket play could still go on Sunday. But, I'll bet a ton of money was saved on umpires by eliminating it...

I am not sure about the showcases up there but there are hardly ever any coaches at the Sunday games where we play. It seems like they are always on there way home.

There were 5 colleges that checked in on Sunday and I know that Kentucky was watching on Field 8 at 10:30 am because I gave her a ride in the golf cart from the parking lot.
