I am pretty impressed anyone could name pitchers at all those age groups.
I could usually do the age group my wife was coaching but that would be about it. And I am overly focused on softball. I can not imagine what it would take to know 10U, 12U, and 14U at this point.

That's a good thought...or wouldn't the best pitchers be listed on the OHSAA state records for strikeouts in a season?
So in looking at the top single season strikeout leaders of all time, Cheyenne Eggins and Kiley Sosby made the list in 2015. So, those are my picks, based solely on strikeouts in a HS season.
Pitchers most definitly help but I would rather see fewer strikeouts and good defense as a fan.
