I HATE COLLLAR BONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as some of you may know i broke my collar bone about a month ago. i went to the orthopeafic and he said you have 2 to 3 months before u can play. i was like OMG!!!. well i go back about a week later and he says youve broken it worse so now you have at least ten weeks until bone growth. that might take out my georgia tourney that we've been planing for a long time and so now everybodys bummed but i think it hurts me the most. i dont know when i can come back! im so sad! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

So sorry to hear of your misfortune. Just do as the doctor says and you will be back and ready before you know it. I broke my collar bone in 2 places years ago (playing softball) - it did not take as long as the doctor's thought it would take to heal. Many times doctors give you the worst possible case scenario so that they do not get your hopes up; perhaps that is what the doctors are doing with you, and you will be back to playing ball well before the 10-week prognosis. Either way, it's the only body you have, take care of it, and it will take care of you for many year.
