Playing School Ball and Select

Does anyone know where I can find the rules for players who play school ball and select? I know that while they are committed to the school team, they can't play elsewhere but I don't know what those dates are and if the dates are a conference thing (we're GWOC), or a district thing. I'm also not sure if that varies for MS and HS. I will potentially have some girls next year that are playing middle school ball and I want to make sure I have all the info.

I don't know where to find the official written rules, but my DD also plays in GWOC. Although I'm pretty sure it is a state wide ruling, not by conference. They cannot play with select once the school team has first scrimmage through the last game of the season. You can't really put definitive dates because it will depend how far they go in the end of the year tournament, but this year for my DD it was approximately March 18 through May 14. Hope this helps.

While many school coaches don't want them playing with Select team as soon as team is picked - OHSAA rules state they are allowed to practice with other team til first scrimmage..........
