rule change 14u?

I read on here earlier that 14u will be allowed metal spike this year. Is this true, and what are some opinions on it?

Same as 43' pitching distance.........majority of 2nd year 14's are use to both in HS, so both seem fine........

Yeah, you can wear metal cleats at 14U. I don't think I'm ready for my dd to start wearing them. She needs new ones this year (thank the Lord not for growth purposes) so I'm trying to decide.

I love metal spikes!! They dig alot deeper into the dirt than the plastic molded cleat so I would suggest alot of practice with them before use. There are also many brands that have interchangable cleats where you can go from plastic to metal on the same shoe.
