my DD takes her last in-car today, next week is the official test to make her a certified driver through the streets of columbus/pickerington and reynoldsburg...
any other parents worried their DD's are not only causing a spike in their insurance rates but actually given the opportunity to make road decisions...at least she doesnt make too many 14u mental mistakes on the field, or she wouldnt be driving at all...not to mention picking up guys!
ahhhhhhh
Hitter23 will remember this...his daughter was here for a hitting lesson and was fouling off the ball and I said are you driving yet? Yes she said proudly! Do you drive like you hit? What do you mean by that? Didn't I tell you to make a good first move with the lead arm elbow? Yes! Then why can't you remember that? Do you bounce the car off the guard rails, walls and curbs? No! Then why won't you put as much effort into hitting as you do driving the car? Daddy he is picking on me!:lmao:
So then I ask her if she wears make up? Yes! You mean you can not remember to make a good first move and yet we trust you to draw around your eyes with a sharp stick!!!!!!!!!!!
Then when you think you have see it all....do you have problems hitting a change up? Sometimes why? Well if you can not judge the speed of the ball then why would we let you pull out in front of another car? They won't hit me or we would have an accident....logic prevails!
In Canada they put a decal on the car for new drivers and it is a circle with a capital
L. Not a bad idea either because at least if they do something lets say not kosher you understand why and maybe you won't go into road rage mode because of the
L decal.
Good luck on your new driver.....
As to the guys....I tell my girls when a guy says you look great and looks downward ask him what color are my eyes and when he looks up and says what are you talking about remember what it felt like hitting a home run and slap him on the side of his head!
