You are a class act.:)

He is a class act and a good example for all. He owned up to a mistake and didn't post that it was the tournament's fault when a case could be made that things were a little confusing. No passing blame for him. Anyone that knows him would agree that he wouldn't do it on purpose. Just an unfortunate situation but the TD can't be faulted for acting on the information he received.

Yes, he is a class act.

Rob is a class act like ALL Static coaches. Even Kavin,,, (he said HI to me once) LOL..

I have no dog in the fight but, after I was told what really happened like most obviously there was something wrong.

Really there is no rule confusion...the tournament format & rules are black and white and all the teams played the event as a non roster event. The TD and event coordinators will correct/adjust the format so rules will not be applied incorrectly down the road.

Like Bear1985 said the other teams who were doing the same thing (and there were several) mum will be the word;&

I

The team that "won" was getting beat by a large margin without this "illegal" player even in the game. I say shame on the person who had to get involved because of "sour grapes" (she didn't play for you this year) and shame on the coach who got the cheap win by not living in the real world. The tournament would have been alot better in that bracket with the right team moving forward.

I've never known Murph to take something that wasn't his but then again, i'm keeping an eye on him when I pass the collection plate during church services:cool:;&:p

The opposing coach like Rob did nothing wrong?

From what I understand the TD was the one who stopped play and suggested the umpires review a rule that was not in the tournament...

The preparatory command for this must have been cluster. The command of action had to be something that rhymed with duck. How can it be permitted in one game but not in another?........... It all falls back on who is in charge of the event. Stinks to see a class act like Rob get grief over something like this.

One is an open roster at an exposure tournament and open to interpretation because it happened in other games without an issue with the TD,s knowledge. The other was a rule violation of the NCAA with no misunderstanding of that rule. I have no idea where the 2 are even close in comparison. And not being a big 10 fan I could really care less what happened to Tressel.
