DADDY took in some of the Saturday Spano winter league today. Interesting day first DADDY almost witnessed a beef over some bad book keeping. Aparently there was some kind of harmless mix up in a game between a couple of teams and the one score keeper just wouldn let it go. Finally I believe the manager of the other team had to put the guy in check, nice job DADDYS only question is what took you so long! This is why DADDY doesnt coach.

Second DADDY took in the Sapphiers, Ice game. Now DADDY being a fan of Bill Harders team watched the 13u Ice keep the game close through 4 innings then the wheels slowly started to come off Coah Harder was starting to get aggrivated.Then when they fell off completly I couldnt help noticing the fact you could have cooked an egg on his head. By far one of my favorite coaches to put an eye on at a tournament!

LOL, Daddy ... I must confess, I can't wait to open your posts and see what is going on in Daddy's world! You really add some "life" & "color" to the game, when so many of us take it too seriously at times.

Now, I would like to say how impressed I was with the Ice Silver. Very nice team, that will be a real pain for the older teams this year once they adjust and find their groove during this winter indoor season, getting ready for outdoors in the spring. Enjoyed chatting a little with their coaches over by the video camera also, nice guys. Good luck to the Ice this year - already very good, and have a feeling they will get better and better all year long.

Did the Ice retool or stick with the very nice group of 12's they had last year ? Did'nt get to see them much but the little i saw at the NSA WS in columbus they looked very dang good. MD

According to the gentleman that I was speaking with, they added a player to pretty much the same team, otherwise. Several could have stayed down at 12 also. Talented young team!

We were the h.s. team involved in the scorekeeping argument. We have twins who I can't even tell apart except for the numbers and one is right-handed while the other is a lefty. I guess our scorekeeper had the wrong name to number for them and the other team thought we batted out of order. They were 8 and 9 in the lineup and equally matched in skill level and the umpire didn't really think there was a problem. It's a developmental league. My husband was the coach who finally told the other coach (scorekeeper) to "leave" and then to "leave now" when he hesitated. lol
