Can the hitting instructor accommodate a small group? Are a small group of teammates/parents interested in additional lessons from the hitting instructor? Will doing additional private group instruction build a bridge rather than burn one? If so, there may be a way to improve the team and be a positive parent without being misconstrued as undermining the coach or program. It's a challenge being patient and "paying dues" till the situation improves.

I'm in the same boat. Heck, there's people on here who are the Capt. Stubing of patience while grinding their teeth about disagreeable coaching. (A small are holding onto the flagpole of the Titanic).

Enjoy her time. Best of Luck .

Live and learn each year take a step forward and don't look back. IF YOUR DD WANTS to be on a great team she has to work and work hard it's all muscle memory so 3 to 4 days plus lessons . Thats her job yours is do your homework stay and watch the good teams at your DD age and study them find out why they are successful. The next thing introduce yourself and DD to them coaches let them get to know her take her to there tryouts get there advice see what she needs to work on to be on that team. If you get a chance go watch these teams play they really inspired my DD over the years great teams great coaches Kavin Morgan Cincy Static 97 Mike Tarter Cincy Magic 96 Doug Mix Ohio Classics 96 Doug Lenos Ohio Hawks Gold. The goal is to be able to make the best team your DD can then at that level you don't have the drama all the girls on the great teams are there for a reason they all put the time in and they are there to play the game . We live in Ohio but my DD plays out of state first year 18s they have 8 D1 commits and the other 3 will commit this summer there isn't any drama what so ever. So live and learn make sure your DD has the work ethic to make it as far as she wants to go.

I apologize for being off point. I've recently moved from Colorado to D.C.due to cataracts and my nervous condition. However my Growing business of gift giving makes it tough to give my humble two ounces. Once again I apologize and hope to fix this loophole.
