I just read this article and it's so very true. If everyone followed these simple "rules" we would teach these young women more about being an adult than being an overzealous/over reacting parent/fan. It's THEIR game.....let them play it and support them however THEY need supported. I liken it to honoring our military.......my son is enlisted in the US Navy! Nobody could be prouder of his choice to serve and Nobody supports their soldier more than we do in whatever HE wants to do. There are lots of folks who don't like the military etc. but that has NOTHING to do with supporting the members of the military........they are our children/husbands/fathers. They deserve our support just as the ladies playing on the diamond deserve our support.......not our anger/outrage!
