Things "I" Learned At Nationals:

1. The D.C. area is a miserable place to live compared to ANYWHERE in Ohio.
a. miserable traffic
b. miserable humidity
c. very strange people
d. high cost of living

2. Kids are going to have fun away from home no matter how miserable the adults around
them are

3. The softball becomes secondary for many of the players and coaches

4. The pressure of the competition is very telling about individual players and coaches

5. I thought GOLF was the most expensive sport to play. Wrong.

I ordered shrimp twice while we were there and my husband had to peel them so I could eat them. I guess I forgot it wasn't Red Lobster and I can't stand seeing all those little legs.
