I observed this also. plus, it appears colleges are really looking for outfielders. infield sessions had very little watching. BUT, the outfielders were well attended.

Really good outfielders are tough to find. I only saw two girls who knew how to properly crow hop.

I could see how it would take more time to discern if Outfielders have the necessary tools. About 3 ground balls and you can see if an infielder has enough arm, fields and throws properly, and has range. Much more to do with an OF - speed, how they track the ball, setting up, throws strength and accuracy over a range of distance, transfer, and how they catch, crow hop, etc.....
