Things I Learned at ASA States (and then some)

1--there is nothing super about a Super 8
2--pickledad does not look like a pickle
3--if fields are unplayable, ask a Laser
4--my DD can call pitches pretty darned good for a closet-blonde
5--no one in Findlay has ever heard of walking tacos
6--apparently, my little girl CAN scream for an entire inning
7--you don't apparently need temp fencing for an ASA state tourney, because 300 foot fences do fine for 16 year old girls
8--doom coaches wont be sending any christmas cards to umpires
9--mcdonalds coffee still isn't drinkable after 3 sugars and 3 cremes, and if it is spilled on a new shirt, it wont even leave a stain
10--Zanesville boys love them some Classics girls

Honorable Mention--meeting Scott Cilenti not only made me realize just how handsome I am, but it was cool knowing he could take some punches from little statman at Van Buren fields. a good memory to say the least

My bro-in-law and his wife live in Findlay and I would agree with your statement. I'm sure they would find them too low brow. They all drink out of china cups with their pinky sticking out. lol
