2. The little Stat Man is the next Hector Macho Camacho!
3. That you now can't approach an umpire about a call because their ego's are bigger than the event!
4. That David Beckham isn't the same guy that playe's pro ****** but can accually pass as Freddy Krugger!
5. That I have a man crush on Rich Ro!

if you get a chance to be a one seed... be one.

probably the number 1 lesson learned....lol

We used the old "Rope-a-dope" tactic!

Seriously it was nice meeting you. Your players were first class

1--there is nothing super about a Super 8

I'd be lying if I said I didn't here about the 'Classics Super 8 Extravaganza' all the way in Elyria. Hotel coordinator is a thankless job, but booking Super 8 is almost a criminal offense.

Add hotels to the list of things us Lasers are connoisseurs of - fine wines, good foods, fields....

You are rollin the dice Merlion.

In fairness to your hotel coordinator, Marion isn't exactly chocked full of Hiltons, Mariotts and Ritz Carltons.

Just remember leave your black light at home :)

Unfortunately, our Super 8 is still almost a 40 minute drive from the fields.

I know what you're saying about the black light too, Lol. Maybe I should do what Howard Hughes was supposed to have done back in the day, and run around and cover everything with tissues. :)

You all did great at State and it was a pleasure to compete against you. Your game against Maddogs was a great on as well

1) Casey really is a Wonder Dog
2) The dirt in Elyria dries remarkably fast, everywhere else where there was grass looked like this...

You think that's bad, I'm staying at a Motel freaking 6 in Colorado in a couple of weeks. I'm dreading it, as I don't rough it well. I don't need too much, but at least give me a Hampton Inn or the like.

I am sure Rob appreciates the shout out. According to the word on the street, some may have thought he was John Doe #3 from Oklahoma City or the man in the grassy knoll.

Agree. Nice hotel and complimentary breaskfast is definitely worth the extra bucks. Especially when there is an 8am game. Our last tourney, after the 8am game, was able to go back to the hotel and get a late breakfast. Worked out nice.
