Add a couple:

6. Hot dogs get cheaper as the evening goes on.

7. DD will work for pepperoni rolls.

8. #6 does not apply to the pepperoni rolls. If you wait, they'll be gone & DD will not work or forgive you.

9. They are getting Musco Lighting on 2 fields and you will be asked to buy
raffle tickets over and over for 3 days

10. Some coaches want to win at any cost when they are losing a game,
even if players are not safe during a lightning storm.

11. Coaches that win tournaments on coin flips get pumped and high five
when they win the Championship on a coin flip.

12. It payed to play at Bazetta Park. Location, location, location. There was a break in the storm and the 18u's got to finish thier game on the field and not by a coin flip.

That they had 52 teams entered, did everything possible to get all the games in without shortening them. Had representatives work their butts off all weekend to provide the nicest fields that they could to all of the teams. Sold lottery tickets and T-shirts to help get the lighting, yes because just cant find someone to give us lights for free. Had volunteers work the concession stand, gate, fields, tp in the port a johns, lol and everything else that needed to be done was someone donating their time. Learned that no matter what you do people complain. Some people will just never be happy no matter what but I would like to thank all of the Coaches, players, parents and spectators that came and dealt with the heart, rain, long days and the eventual coin toss which usually doesnt end well. One age group wanted us to go with the pool play record and seeding instead of a coin toss but couldnt view that as fair since at 10U,12U and 14U VE teams were 1st seeds and at 16U VE held a 2nd seed. Unfortunately the toss was the eventual outcome. Good luck to all the teams that had came and good luck the rest of your season this year hopefully we all have good weatherthe rest of the way.
