Just to get some info for original poster: I have two girls that I am working with that are 10Us, both are 5th graders, both have turned 11 YO this spring and obviously are 2nd year 10U players. One just hit 46 last night as a personal best, she cruises in a game 42-44 with good control. Throws a peel drop and a change. The second I have worked with for just 2 months and is 41-43 but all over the place at this point. Has the seven pitches mentioned above: backstop, dirt, batter, umpire, mascot, etc. I would say the exceptional 10U pitchers are 46-50mph game speed. 50+ mph in 10U would be freaky good, I would think. The biggest challenge I have is converting / working with girls that started with pushing the ball down on the backside of the arm circle and finishing with hello elbow.
